GLOBAL SALES ENABLEMENT APP

Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Project Summary

As part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s effort to modernize global sales enablement, we created an interactive, data-rich storytelling app that transformed customer success stories into immersive, touch-enabled experiences, starting with the Shell Eco-marathon case study. Built for tablet and desktop, the platform helped sales teams explain complex enterprise solutions through modular, consultative storytelling rather than static slides.

My Role
Product / Information Designer (Creative Authority) — led experience design, narrative structure, content modularity, and interactive storytelling across the platform and initial case study set.

Client / Team Context
HPE global sales and sales enablement initiative, developed in partnership with Adobe’s enterprise solutioning team and adopted across regions and business units.

  • Challenge 1: Deliver a visually rich, media-driven experience that still performed reliably in low-bandwidth global environments.
Solution: Optimized media for tablet/desktop delivery, used progressive loading patterns, and implemented tap-to-play video with fallback states for offline or low-connectivity demos.

Challenge 2: Sales conversations are nonlinear, reps needed flexible storytelling paths during live client meetings.
Solution: Designed a modular navigation model (swipe + tap) with persistent tabs and standalone sections (Overview, Challenge, Solution, Benefits) that supported quick jumps without losing narrative cohesion.

Challenge 3: Maintain brand consistency while scaling across regions, verticals, and future stories.
Solution: Built a modular design system and content framework that supported localization and rapid iteration, enabling teams to launch new stories without reinventing structure or interface patterns.

  • Platform & Storytelling Experience

    • Hybrid interactive sales enablement app for tablet and desktop

    • Modular storytelling architecture for consultative sales conversations

    • Reusable UI patterns and branded templates for scalable adoption

    • Media integration approach (video, visuals, interactive modules) designed for performance

    Case Study Library (Initial Rollout)

    • Shell Eco-marathon flagship story and supporting modules

    • ~30 customer success stories produced in the initial wave

    • Framework standardized for future case studies presented to clients and published online

    • Increased engagement in enterprise sales meetings by shifting from static slides to interactive storytelling

    • Enabled faster, more tailored client conversations through modular, real-time navigation

    • Scaled adoption across global regions and business units as the standard case study format

    • Established a repeatable content platform with long-term ROI and minimal lift for new stories

    • Contributed to Adobe’s understanding of enterprise storytelling needs; elements of the work informed what became Adobe Marketing Cloud

The platform became a foundation for how HPE communicated complex solutions, turning case studies into a reusable, branded experience that supported global sales teams at scale.
