Project Summary

Project Mercury was a strategic storytelling initiative created to communicate the full scope of DXC’s airline industry capabilities, from core IT modernization to passenger experience transformation.

As Creative Director and Design Strategist, I led the narrative development, design strategy, and motion execution of a flagship animation used across executive orals, pursuit decks, digital collateral, and industry microsites. The video served as a unifying anchor for live sales conversations and follow‑up engagements with airline leadership, including American Airlines, British Airways, and United Airlines.

Beyond the animation itself, I partnered directly with airline industry leaders, account managers, and solution teams to shape messaging, visual frameworks, and experience design used across multiple pursuits, shortlists, and deal wins.

  • Passenger Loyalty Programs
    Led design strategy for loyalty‑focused pursuits, including customer journey storytelling, executive dashboards, and experience concepts that demonstrated personalization, lifetime value, and retention strategies.

    Crew & Operations Optimization
    Supported sales solutions with visual frameworks and interface concepts illustrating crew scheduling, mobile workforce tools, and operational efficiency improvements across airline ecosystems.

    Intelligent Automation
    Designed storytelling assets and motion sequences explaining how automation, AI, and RPA could streamline ticketing, baggage handling, finance, and operational workflows, making complex systems accessible to executives.

    Revenue Management
    Created conceptual UX flows and presentation visuals to communicate yield optimization, pricing intelligence, and demand forecasting platforms in a clear, business‑outcome‑driven way.

    Cloud Infrastructure Modernization
    Developed visual narratives and architectural abstractions showing how airline platforms could transition from legacy systems to secure, scalable, multi‑cloud environments.

    Cybersecurity & Resiliency
    Designed executive‑level infographics and experience flows to convey system resilience, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation without overwhelming non‑technical audiences.

    Platform Consolidation
    Helped shape the transformation story through design frameworks that illustrated how fragmented airline systems could be unified into cohesive, interoperable digital platforms.

    Personalized Passenger Experience
    Supported pursuits with journey maps, experience concepts, and UI storytelling focused on personalization across booking, check‑in, loyalty, and in‑flight touchpoints.

    End‑to‑End Digital Transformation
    Acted as a design strategy partner across full‑scale airline transformation initiatives, connecting business goals, platform strategy, and customer experience into a single, compelling narrative.

  • Project Mercury wasn’t just a video, it was a design‑led strategy tool. By translating complex airline services into clear, emotionally intelligent storytelling, it helped guide executive conversations, accelerate trust, and support high‑value enterprise decisions.
